This was my first melissa and doug puzzle and I was really disapponted, Not only were the colors kind of bland, not like it looks online. Several pieces were coming apart and one was torn. I was thinking about ordering some of their floor puzzles for my classroom, but I worry about their quality. They have such pretty puzzles it is a shame that they are better made.

These puzzles have nice large piece and vibrant colors. There were 2 problems with them. one, which may have been the fact we were in a rain forest area, was that the pieces were comprised of multiple layers and the glue was not holding up well- so we had to reglue many of the pieces both when putting the puzzle together and taking apart. Had not experienced this problem with other puzzles we had. Additionally the large picture of the puzzle was not complete and a segment was covered by words describing it. We had to use the tiny pictures on the side to figure out what went under there- which was a bit of a chore. Finally these are the only puzzle we now of in which the pieces do not fit perfectly-they can overlap and so is initially disconcerting, but one grows into it

Beautiful picture filled with so many animals, birds etc. Great to do with kids and adults. Fine puzzle at a very reasonable cost compared to many. Full size box.
