But I can't imagine have 4 of them around. It's better to have diversity when it comes to puzzles. It seems, the age rating is a bit too conservative. Still, he had lots of fun intentionally mismatching the pieces. I realize that it to make all the pieces interchangeable, but it would be nice if the entire shape of the animal also removed, in a separate chunk. As a puzzle it is not too difficult for him to put together. The pieces are large and sturdy. He really enjoys the textures on each animal. The puzzle provides the right level of challenge for a 2 year old. I didn't realize only a small section of each animal (only one leg) would be the piece (I thought it was going to be the whole body of each animal), but this is still a great puzzle and my 1-year-old daughter likes to play with it.
